So the upper circle is the unborn baby in the womb, and the form of the whole sculpture represents the parents’ adult bodies bent over the mother’s belly in a protective shape.

Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. It is suitable for outdoor display, as it is dense and impermeable and has very few flaws that might be exacerbated by frost action.
