Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. Charles has sanded the stone, then heated and waxed it with clear wax to bring out the natural colour of the stone.
Springstone is very hard and impermeable. As a result, it is naturally frost-resistant and can be displayed outdoors – even in temperate climates.
