This sculpture is a lovely example of Tonderai’s complex abstract style. It would make a perfect garden centrepiece, as it has interest from every angle. In addition, it’s a very versatile size – on a tall plinth, it would work well in a garden, but it’s also perfectly suited to indoor display.
Springstone is the local name for a hard type of serpentine stone. It has a dense, even internal structure of small grains of rock with very few flaws. It is impermeable, which makes it naturally resistant to frost damage. Therefore, it’s suitable for outdoor display, even in temperate climates.
