Two sisters, represented by the uprights coming up from the base; they are singing together, and their voices blend to make perfect harmony, shown by the loops at the top.
Tonderai has kept things relatively simple here, and the resulting sculpture has a pleasing balance and clarity of form.
Springstone is the local name for a hard type of serpentine stone. It has a dense, even internal structure of small grains of rock with very few flaws, and is the perfect medium for Tonderai’s technically challenging style. It is impermeable, which makes it naturally resistant to frost damage. Therefore, it’s suitable for outdoor display, even in temperate climates.
Imperial measurements are:

This sculpture is in Zimbabwe and will be shipped from there;

Unsurprisingly, freight from Zimbabwe can be expensive. Therefore, as a rough guideline, we would advise you budget approximately at least half as much as the sculpture for the additional shipping costs.
Please note freight is as cargo to your nearest air/sea port; you would need a clearing agent to do customs clearance and arrange onward haulage to your delivery address. This isn’t as complicated as it might sound, and using an agent is definitely better than trying to do it yourself.
