“Nature and life are throwing their pressures at her, like the wind in her hair, but she doesn’t lose her glow and she stays positive.”
Tutani has created the sweeping lines of her hair with a grinder. The outer surface of the stone was dark brown and rough; inside, the crystalline clarity of the white marble is near-flawless. By leaving the hint of the original stone surface, Tutani creates a contrast in colour and texture. This highlights the dazzling white of the marble and the smooth sanded finish that feels so pleasing to your fingertips.
White marble is a very hard crystalline stone composed mainly of dolomite mineral. As the light catches the crystal facets in the stone, it sparkles. So you can create contrast by displaying this sculpture in good light against a dark background.

Overseas shipping is from Zimbabwe via air or sea freight;
P&P at buyer’s expense.
Please note freight is as cargo to your nearest port; you would need to engage the services of a clearing agent to do customs clearance and arrange onward haulage to your delivery address. This isn’t as complicated as it might sound, and using an agent is definitely better than trying to do it yourself.
If you’d like a freight quote, please email us giving your nearest airport and/or sea port along with your contact details.
Unsurprisingly, freight from Zimbabwe can be expensive. This piece is very heavy for its size; be aware that, adding in shipping and associated costs, the all-in price is likely to be between $3,000 and $4,000, depending where you are in the world and whether you ship by air or sea.
