Ephraim Chaurika

Sculptor

The horse’s arched neck signifies its pride in its appearance, it is showing off, demonstrating its strength.

Ephraim is a senior sculptor. He is best known for his lovely quirky sculptures of horses. This piece is a supreme example of his quintessential style.

It would make a super focal point for a garden, as it is an impressive size and is interesting from every angle.

The grey base of the sculpture is the same piece of stone as the top shiny black part. That is, it is all made from one contiguous piece of stone, just finished with different techniques.

Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. It is suitable for outdoor display, as it is dense and impermeable and has very few flaws that might be exacerbated by frost action.

This sculpture is in Zimbabwe and will be shipped from there; P&P at  buyer’s expense.
