We couldn’t agree more, Joe – she has a strong and dignified presence, reinforced by her raised chin that literally lifts her up. The stone Joe has chosen to use is a lovely deep green, very hard and laced with yellow and dark green veins. In addition, Joe’s trademark precision detailing of the facial features makes this bust even more striking.
Joe has inlaid finely ground white marble into the sculpture for her necklace and earrings, which adds to the extra-special quality of this sculpture.
