An abstract representation of the heads of two elephants with their trunks intertwined.
Here, Antony uses elephants as a metaphor for human relationships. The intertwined trunks show the bond that holds male a and female together in love, a lifelong bond. (Of course, elephants don’t actually do this – females stay together in family groups and males roam alone – but for the purposes of art we can give Antony some leeway!).
This incredible fluid artwork is by one of the best young abstract artists working in Zimbabwe today.
It would make a super centrepiece for a garden, particularly given the truly 360° nature of the sculpture.
Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. It is suitable for outdoor display, as it is dense and impermeable and has very few flaws that might be exacerbated by frost action.
This sculpture is in Zimbabwe and will be shipped from there; P&P at buyer’s expense.
